We are excited to formally introduce Makenzie, who has been quietly making an impact behind the scenes over the past few months as our Design Operations Assistant. Though you may have seen her work already, we’re thrilled to officially welcome her to the team!
About Makenzie
Makenzie has been a valued member of Pellegrini Design LLC. since January 2025. With a rich and varied background—including roles as a graphic designer, baker, homeschool mom, and more—she brings a unique blend of creativity, versatility, and a strong can-do attitude to everything she tackles. Makenzie supports product sourcing and research, ordering, tracking, client presentations, and marketing efforts—helping keep everything running smoothly and ensuring our client projects stay on track. While her work may not always be front and center, it plays a vital role in the smooth operation of our interior design business, and we’re grateful to have her as part of the team!
" Who I Am Behind the Job:
I love to spend time outdoors, in nature. Nothing sparks my creativity more than observing nature in all its glory. Whether it's painting with the kids, designing a custom cake, or picking out wallpaper, nature always finds a way to weave itself into everything I create. If I were to craft a cake that embodies my interior design aesthetic, it would look something like…
What is my mantra?:
"I go where I'm needed” - because life constantly offers opportunities to serve! I wholeheartedly embrace the idea that purpose isn't confined to a single role or title. Who says you can't be a designer by day, a baker by night, and a spontaneous adventurer on weekends? Life's too vibrant to be boxed in - so I follow where the heart leads and the need calls.
Favorite Hobby:
As a busy mother of two spirited and energetic children, my hobbies have evolved over time. What once was crafting has transformed into cleaning, hiking has given way to helping with homework, and traveling has shifted toward teaching at home. Despite the whirlwind of daily life, I consider myself incredibly fortunate to spend my time with these beautiful little humans. Their curiosity, laughter, and boundless energy make every day an adventure, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Favorite Animal:
All the birds of the air, and ground! With a small flock of chickens in my care, and a wooded backyard full of songbirds, I find myself listening to and thinking about birds a lot! "
